Level 3 - Frontlines/Lost/Ghost Squad Reviews

Guys, this was the episode that appeared last week. We’ve seen it up elsewhere, and figured we’d prefer the hits over one of the video sharing sites. We review Frontlines: Fuel of War, Lost: Via Domus and Ghost Squad. Enjoy!

L3AP - Episode 05: News Of The World

It’s funny how something as simple as a bad internet connection can shape a podcast. On today’s episode, Young Jamie and Jason ditch the feature discussion and settle in for some news discussion, and focus on a much shorter show overall. But in any case, expect discussions on the following: Crysis on PS3/360, Dexter entering the Gaming Realm (but no Lab..), Phil Harrison joining Infogrames, PS3 selling a million in Europe (and potential promises of some cool stuff), a potential sequel to Heavenly Sword, Activision doing more for Australia than Nintendo would, ACMI’s Game On Exhibition, the passing of a true Dungeon Master and some talk on a heated rival.

Level 3 would also like to apologize for the last episode taking so long to update – we’re hoping for a shorter timeframe this time around.

Level 3 - More PS3 Reviews and Political Promises

Here’s yet another classic ep of Level 3. Jason reviews Folklore, Jamie reviews FEAR and Senator Conroy commits to a review of the Film rebate system. Also, the contests are no longer valid. We love your emails, guys, but not when they’re about 3 month old contests!

L3AP - Episode 04: Rage, Otherwise Much Strife

It’s one of the most controversial acts that a gamer can do, but it’s also one of the most beneficial. Of course, we speak of Emulation. On today’s episode, Jason, Young Jamie and (surprisingly!) The Weird Kid talk about what it’s like using their computers (or consoles) to play the games of the past and present.

We also talk about why emulation is a benefit and why it’s a curse. As well as this, we talk about Activision becoming the new Konami, Nintendo Europe giving hope to Wii owners, more Capcom installation woes (but high-res Bionic Commando Rearmed...unless you own a 360), bring up GDC (and one of the most obvious sequels in recent history is finally confirmed...which isn’t Portal 2...or is it?), AOU and some rumours (that aren’t acronyms).

All this and more in the latest Level 3 podcast!
